HERMINIE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world

MAKING DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE WORLD.

We are a church built on the Wesleyan principles of:

Do No Harm

Do good of all possible sort to as many as possible

Staying in love with God

These principles motive our mission to look for needs in our community and surrounding area and do what we can to provide for those needs.

This means we need to hear from you. If you find that you are missing something and the world is not filling that need, come and talk with us. We have a love and peace from God that can help to fill that emptiness.

Our mission is to introduce you to Jesus Christ and come to love Him and serve Him in the world so that you will go out and also help make more disciples of Jesus. The ultimate goal is to transform the world and make it a world filled with Godly love.

Are we perfect? By no means are we perfect! Do we make mistakes? Of course we do! The church is a place where imperfect people come to ask God to forgive them and where we learn how we can serve Him because He loves us enough to forgive us.

Consider joining us and find yourself among people who will make you feel comfortable and where your faith will be discovered and grow.

OUR PASTOR

We value Christ-Centered:

Acceptance: We recognize that Christ's love has no boundaries.

Hospitality: We welcome all to share Christ's love through help, hope, and healing

Community: We claim a sacred place where Christ's love unites all to support and care for others while nurturing a personal relationship with God.

Discipleship: We believe we are called to be living representatives of Jesus Christ and bring others to know God's mercy, justice, grace, and love.

Service: We respond to Christ's love and God's call, by sharing our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.
